Administrator, Skilled Nursing Facility
Full time position is responsible for the overall administration, management and organizational planning for the non-licensed skilled nursing facility located in Merion, PA. Oversees and directs the daily operations to assure compassionate, quality care and safety is delivered. Develops policies, procedures and practices that mirror those of a licensed facility in order to align with local, state and federal regulatory compliance. Directly supervises management staff.
Qualifications: Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania as a Nursing Home Administrator in good standing; or licensed and in good standing through another State with a reciprocal arrangement. Minimum of 3 years experience as an Administrator. Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration & Master’s degree in related field; or Master’s degree in Health Administration. Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care & not-for-profit organizations/religious communities. The successful candidate has strong financial, operational, technical & administrative skills; a collaborative & consultative leadership & management style that instills confidence; proven leadership ability to accomplish short & long term goals; proficiency for conceptual thinking & problem solving. Demonstrated initiative, prudent judgment and the ability to motivate & develop a cohesive team. The position reports to the Director for Retirement Services.
